Hi Mustang Parents! Happy Summer. It's so good to be living in the same house as my Mustang again. Life seems perfect again (in spite of all the evidence that it is NOT), and my heart is full every day (so, parents about to launch your bird: life will seem perfect again (like every time you see your kid - and there will be long stretches of extremely-appreciated normalcy again. Keep faith!)).
Low-key, chill, spontaneous, like the best of the old days. But he's like a full-grown independent adult now (well, not financially independent, of course, we're still stuck in reality 
).
Bumping the volleyball, meals together, a bike-checkout ride around the bay... Just beloved normalcy.
Heart so full.
