I can't recommend enough that if you have a kid who has left the house, find a group in their new community.
The support from this Parents Group has been amazing. Their response to my emotional bleatings (both happy, sad, and sweetancholy) has been tremendous, and very insightful.
I shudder to think what this year would have been like without them.
Truly, we've launched a bird, but gained a flock.
