Hey, Flock!
Is it just me or is everyone having a new fledgling returning to the nest for Thanksgiving just feeling positively giddy?
Yeah, I know that there will be boundarying, and that he'll be out with friends most of the time. Yeah, my new empty nest life is going well, I'm not bored or lonely, but, Yay frickin' YAY!
It may simply be a few passes in the hallway and the occasional "you want a sandwich?". Frankly, that's not too different from his senior year anyway. It was enough then, it'll be enough now.
And then Winter Break.
I might need a little space after all.
